About Austin Morse

For more than a decade, Austin Morse worked with both children and adults in the fields of mental healthcare and higher education while also serving in various ministry roles. Through these experiences, he had the privilege of meeting and working with many individuals from diverse backgrounds, each one uniquely valuable and important.

Austin holds a Master of Arts in Human Services and Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology from Global University in Springfield, Missouri.

In 2011, he felt called to write a children’s book inspired by his two beloved cats, whose amusing adventures and very different personalities provided years of enjoyment. Observing their interactions often brought to mind meaningful biblical lessons about character, kindness, and patience.

Through his writing, Austin hopes to create stories that both entertain and encourage children to learn and practice biblical principles that honor God.

A message for young readers

Through "Naughty Miss Clawdia Learns Kindness," Austin hopes that young readers will feel a sense of joy, wonder, and connection. He aims to impart valuable lessons about friendship, understanding, and the importance of embracing each other's unique qualities, just like his two feline muses.

Ultimately, he wants children to come away with a stronger sense of empathy and a gentle reminder that even the "naughtiest" among us can teach us profound truths about kindness and acceptance.
